Found myself in the little town behind the #PyramidoftheSun in #Teotihuacán at mealtime (2pm). Away from the crazy rush of #MexicoCity, the homey, slower but kind service was refreshing. #Amanecer is tucked in the back of a #rural town strip mall. Broke the bank to get the classic #comidadeldía for only US$2.50—slightly oily #alphabetsoup (don’t worry, I limed it), #arroz and four #taquitos (#potato, chicken and beans). Plain and #simple.
