#FarmtoTaco Every month, I have a goal to do something I’ve never done before. Thanks to TEDxRiverton taking experiential learning and inspiration to a whole new level, I had a first time taco experience today. We all got to pick cilantro planted in February at the @PetersenFarmers family farm and put it on our tacos. How cool is that?! Perfect on top of the really delicious @FacilTaqueria pulled chicken (my fave), brisket and spicy seared cauliflower (also very very good). Totally uplifted and inspired by incredible friends @TiffPeterson (“protect your joy, peace and unique value”), @HenryAmmar (“turn fear to freedom”) and @SchwabScott (“time is killing education”) + @Everything_Is_Incredible’s Tyler (“243…We love you”). Ideas (and tacos) definitely worth spreading. Plus that mid-afternoon-7th-inning-stretch “prune, shovel, pick and weed”…amazing!

The awesome team at @faciltaqueria is not messing around! I wanted to post this side angle shot so you could fully appreciate the height and heft of the fillings on these terrific tacos. And this pork belly beauty (bottom right) is an off-menu gem usually reserved for a burrito but IMHO much much better in taco form (isn’t everything?!). These are stepping up the taco game in SLC no question. Carnitas, pollo and then went back another day at @shopthegateway and got the amazing cauliflower/avocado veg taco (bomb!). Hunt these guys down…and they may even offer you some of the treasures from their taco R&D from recent trips to Oaxaca (the salsa from chile tuxta was 
).
