Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, you have one of the best #tostadas you’ve had in ages in the rainforest hills of #Guatemala during a humanitarian service week with @DoTerra@DoTerraHHF and @ChoiceOrg. Doña Caridad marinated the #lomito in homemade #chimichurri sauce she whipped up in the brand new industrial kitchen of the Sikaab’e vocational training center (where local Mayan Q’eqchi’ learn trades like metal work, electrical systems and culinary arts—so cool and such a generational impact!) Both the carne and the handmade tortillas were cooked over leña for a smoky flavor that had us all . And smeared with the famous chapin-style #frijolesvolteados…ni hablar!
