Devilishly good #grilledcorn slathered with salty cheese and lime juice was the #grandslam for this pre-#Dodgersgame fare at @DiabloTacoLA. Eclectic #taco quartet in ascending order of deliciousness— fried chicken (topped with purple #kale and a nice splash of maple), carne asada (sweet, #bacononion #marmalade and beans definitely made this stand out from the run-of-the-mill carne asada), #alpastor (kudos to the #kurobuta pig for providing some seriously tender and uniquely shredded #pork but it needed more #pineapple), and the winner…braised #beef (juicy, flavorful meat punctuated with a surprising #passionfruit vinaigrette but skimpy on the promised plantains). Kicked up the heat with some terrific #habanero#gasoline and #ghostpepper #napalmsalsas in a chill albeit slightly musky former bar environment. Play your fave childhood games like #ConnectFour and #Battleship while you wait. Loved that she brought us ample #limes!
