Viva el chile en nogada (#threepeat best in MexicoDF)! I know it’s not tacos, but it had to be done. Like eating apple pie on the 4th of July—this seasonal special is a September-only thing to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. Tri-color represented with the green chile stuffed with beef, pork, peaches, raisins and 25 other spices and flavors, white nut and goat cheese creamy salsa and red sprinkles of pomegranate seeds. You can kind of make out the foot-long cinnamon stick spear with a thin gold foil “flag.” A true fiesta patria en la boca! Plus, you get hot bread filled with housemade mole. Bonus!  #dulcepatria
