There’s always time. Racing for the airport late for your flight is absolutely no excuse to deny yourself taco joy. Especially when the deep sadness of a pending Mexico City departure (and a future lack of these in your life) sets in. Champs at @ElCalifa_mx not only opened up a bit earlier for us but then sealed and packed up this costra al pastor as if it were the Crown Jewels para llevar. Even included limes, salsa, piña. They are just that good. Still smoky and amazing in the back seat of our @uber. The only solace is that we’ll be back SOON on our Master Class photo/video/taco weekend in April (Join us! Link in profile).

“I just got the chills!” @krommenhoek. And the @convoi_ crowd went wild over everything @elcalifa_mx. Their signature costra al pastor (drop the 
), the guac, the strawberry- or passion fruit-coconut juice mixes, the chicharrón de queso, and those beans! Fueled us for the first ever lucha libre training session. We were In the ring with Shocker, Mephisto and Guerrero Maya for 2.5 hours…and they rocked our world. ‘Member that time when @amyrill got recruited (Shocker: “Come to Mexico, I’ll make you a luchadora!”) or when @jkhowland was a human pretzel? Yeah, even @therock and @johncena would’ve been proud. Whatever happens, do not let them take off your mask!

#preach When we had a 6-hour layover, this stop was the crowning jewel on our pilgrimage #tacotour. And more than ever our #tacoexperience was like @enriqueiglesias said — “casi una #experienciareligiosa!” They just nail the fundamentals (ridiculously amazing food…see above por favor) and on top of that everyone on the team is beyond committed to the customer with an army of servers standing by to jump on any twitch of a movement to serve (case in point: @rustincraigmorris lifted his head and Gustavo was instantly by his side asking “Hay algo que le falta?”). And Susana was super attentive and saw that I was searching for an outlet with my iPhone charge cord in hand: “Would you like to use my charging battery pack?” She promptly went to grab her own charging pack for me to use during the meal. Wow! #loyalforlife
