Fresh made corn tortillas. Impressed. Very impressed. And the ambient grupera music from the 90s was perfect for a reunion with @marcfrandsen when we were missionaries in Mexico together and all this taco madness began! (And Juana’s service was exceptional! 
)

Tropicolada? We were weak in the knees. How could we not get the all-fruit monster smoothie to wash down the tacos (
and mango [how are we living in a time when there still isn’t a mango emoji?!]. And with the winning champechano (suadero y chorizo) taco, this was more like tropiparadise!

Taco’clock! When you’re living every day like it’s #TacoTuesday, it’s ALWAYS taco time. Right? 12 noon: chorizo (surprise hit…salty, spicy, good), 3 o’clock: al pastor with huge piece of pineapple for the win, 6 o’clock classic carne aside with salsa verde, 9 o’clock tinga de pollo – solid. This was a strong street taco-esque potpourri served in a hopping Latino mall. #westside. Taco Tuesdays are always happy but when asked if they make their own tortillas (I just have to ask), she said, “oh, we don’t have time for that!” #tacosadness There’s nothing better than handmade tortillas. #timesallwehave #missedopportunity

“Crispi crispi crispi”
Word for word what was printed on the bottom of my ticket (as requested). They nailed it. Perfectly crisp 2 carne asada and 2 al pastor tacos. 
And just when you thought the trompo (complete with pineapple up top) was basically non-existent in Utah, El Morelense delivers. Goood stuff. Go to the West Valley Latino mall, watch for the neon sign, and grab a table next to the cell phone kiosk. Boom!
