Guillos

Recovery tacos after a “run” through historic downtown Mexico City (super crowded streets where aztec dancers, street markets and panamerican race cars interrupted the run). Not only is NKOTB Taquería @guillosmx part of a small gastro-market atrium in a cool historic building in the centro historico, but the tacos de guisados (stewed meats) are GOOD. Starting up top and moving clockwise: rajas con creamy queso and cheese chunks, cochinita pibil (the winner for me…especially delicious and juicy), chorizo and potatoes (decent but not my fave), and the unusual choice of chile relleno (different, great)
