It’s not every day you find really terrific handmade mole. With dozens of ingredients, it’s a labor of love and NO JOKE. So when @vspice8 and I came across this Oaxacan black mole (also something rare) at @lasantisimaflagstaff when visiting the abuelitos, we had to. And what a rich, earthy, chocolatey, smoky, spicy decision I’m still glad we made. If you’re getting your kicks on Route 66, stop in. Unless, I fear they may have moved… does anyone know?!
