El Fraaaaaanc! Up close and personal as it always should be. They go through about 70 kg of al pastor pork on that trompo/spit every day. And it’s totally understandable why. It’s just so right. (And did you see how he paused before adding the salsa like he normally does…they had asked for it without. Mark of a #tacomaster!)

Ginormous trompo yields some ridiculously good, classic #TJstyle al pastor! #ElFranc is a must-stop if you’re in TJ…and if you’re not, make a #runfortheborder and get there now. Now we know what all the fuss is about—and why these guys lead the charge to rival #MexicoCity’s taco scene. #Tacos or #mulas (with copious amounts of melted cheese) made of well-seasoned pork, topped with onions, cilantro and the lip-smacking guac-salsa. Speedy Gonzalez-style service. Get there early to beat the crazy lines of the #tacofaithful! ¡Viva El Franc!
