Unexpected mid-week trip to Toluca on our humanitarian expedition meant a much-needed hot shower and #tacosearch (of course—plus it was #tacotuesday). Our friend Mauricio knew right where all the locals go—Carranza’s taco street. These little #tacos al pastor with queso at Taquería Santa María hit the spot! Crispy meat, homemade tortillas, shards of pineapple and the frijoles charros where delicious. Exactly what we needed after a full day of painting, making latrines, teaching a music class and chopping wood.
